⚓ Social WALK Piraeus: From the Urban Heart to the Sea Breeze! 🌊👟

Piraeus is much more than just a port !it’s a city full of hidden gems, neoclassical masterpieces, and the best views of the Saronic Gulf! In this Social Walk, we leave the city center behind and head towards the coast to enjoy one of the most iconic routes in Attica.

Whether you are a photography enthusiast 📸, looking to meet new people 🤝, or just want to walk by the sea, this walk is for you!

📍 Our Route

We start at the heart of Piraeus, the majestic Municipal Theatre. After exploring the historic center, we’ll head towards Pasalimani (Zea Marina), walking alongside the yachts. From there, we will climb the hills of Kastella 🏰. We’ll get lost in the picturesque alleys filled with beautiful mansions and stop at the best "Instagrammable" spots for panoramic photos. Our walk will conclude at Votsalakia beach, right where the waves hit the shore! 🌊

✨ What we will see:

• Piraeus Municipal Theatre: The neoclassical jewel of the city. 🏛️
• Pasalimani (Zea Marina): The cosmopolitan side of the coast. ⛵
• Kastella: The most picturesque neighborhood with narrow streets and an "Old Athens" vibe. 🏘️
• Saronic Views: The endless blue from above (perfect for your social media shots!). 🌅
• Votsalakia: Our finish line by the sand and the sea. 🏖️

🕒 When & Where:

• Meeting Point: "Dimotiko Theatro" Metro Station – Exit: Korai Square / Municipal Theatre. 🚇
• Meeting Time: 19:45
• Departure Time: 20:00 
• Difficulty Level: Easy/Moderate (Kastella has some uphill parts, but we’ll keep a relaxed pace!)

• Comfortable walking shoes (sneakers are your best friends!). 👟
• Water and perhaps a light snack. 💧
• Your camera or a fully charged phone! 🔋
• Your best mood for socializing! 😊

At the end of the walk, we’ll grab a relaxed drink or some street food nearby to get to know each other better and end the night on a high note. 🍻🍔
